MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) As we prepare to welcome in a new year I wanted to share a guest commentary from our sister station, KPLC-TV, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Madison Johnson, a nine year old student, had this message about The Power of Words.

Profound, right? What you don't know is that Madison shared her comments after a young girl committed suicide due to alleged bullying. In 2012 I challenge all of us to remember The Power of Words. Happy New Year.
