SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) Police have arrested the man they say robbed two Summerville banks in the past two years.
The Summerville Police Department arrested
Lonnie Gasque on Wednesday. He is facing two counts of entering a
financial institution with intent to steal for his alleged role in two
bank robberies.
The most recent robbery occurred at the
National Bank of South Carolina on North Main Street last Thursday.
Gasque is also charged with robbing the First Citizens Bank on Trolley
Road in November 2010.
He was granted a $2,000 surety bond on
Wednesday. Gasque is being held at Berkeley County Detention Center on
unrelated charges.
