DCSO seek two suspected armed robbers

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) Deputies with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office are searching for two suspects in connection with the armed robbery of the Markette Store on McIver Road Sunday night.

According to Captain Andy Locklair with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, two men entered the store Sunday evening and robbed it at gunpoint.

The clerk of the store was unharmed, and called 911 around 11:45 p.m. after the suspects fled on foot to a car waiting further down the street with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two suspects were described as black males between the ages of 18 and 30. Their vehicle was a dark-colored car, possibly four doors.

Investigators searched the area of the store Sunday evening but did not find the suspects matching the description given. Surveillance photos show what the suspects were wearing.
