Attempted murder suspect turns self in to Darlington City Police

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) An attempted murder suspect accused of being the gunman in a Darlington shooting Thursday night has turned himself in to police.

Sgt. Kimberly Nelson with DCPD says Jerel Bernard Graham Jr., 24 of Darlington, turned himself in to authorities around 10:30 a.m. Friday morning without incident.

Graham was wanted in connection to a Thursday night shooting that took place at 411 Well St. in Darlington City.

Darlington officers were dispatched to a shooting complaint on Well St. about 7 p.m. Thursday where they found one victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg and foot. A second victim reported that she was threatened while the suspect had a gun pointed at her.

The victim with the gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital.

Graham is charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, according to a release issued by the Darlington City  Police Department.
