Conway Police arrest second suspect in sex assault

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) Conway Police have taken the second suspect in a sexual assault case off the streets Wednesday night.

According to Sgt. Selena Small with the Conway Police Department, Paul Anthony Mishoe, 21, of Conway, was located at his girlfriend's residence and arrested without incident Wednesday.

Police say the arrest is the result of an incident that happened on Dec. 1 on Williams Street in Conway. A victim reported that two suspects sexually assaulted her while at this location.

Mishoe is charged with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree. He appeared before Judge Andy Hendrick Thursday and bond was set at $10,000.

Sgt. Small adds that a second suspect was also arrested in the case. Kelsey Rhassan Phillips, 21 of Conway, is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct.

Phillips turned himself in to police on Dec. 22. He appeared before Judge Jane Mackey and bond was set at $10,000.
