Suspect identified in Duckett St. shooting

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) The Conway Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man reportedly responsible for a shooting that sent two to the hospital on Dec. 11.

Catina Hipp, spokeswoman for the Conway Police Department, said officers responded to a home along Duckett Street around 7 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

When they arrived, they found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back and another victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Both victims were transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Wednesday, Sgt. Selena Small with the Conway Police Department, said officers have issued arrest warrants on two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime for Marquis Terrell Cox, 28, of Conway.

Anyone with information on Cox's whereabouts is asked to contact the Conway Police Department as soon as possible.
