HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) After a dispute over a property line that looked like a scene out of a Hollywood movie, a senior citizen and two others were jailed on assault charges Monday.

According to a police report from the Horry County Police Department, officers responded to the 8700 block of Highway 814 in the Myrtle Beach area in reference to an assault. When they arrived, they found Edward Miller, 57, William Caison, 66, and Sidney Moorer, 35, all of Myrtle Beach, engaged in a verbal argument.

Officers then separated the three and told them to stay away from each other as they tried to figure out what happened.

Miller told police he went over to the property line to "investigate why [Caison] marked off the property line." He claims Caison then attacked him.

Caison told officers Miller attacked him first by grabbing Caison around the throat.

Moorer stated he pulled Miller off of Caison, however, Miller told police that Moorer actually held him down as Caison kicked him in the side.

All three told police verbal threats had been made about them committing great bodily harm to each other. Additionally, another occupant of Miller's home stated he feared for his life due to threats he had received.

The three were then arrested for assault and battery in the third degree and were released from jail on a $500  bond.

Officers determined the situation to be related to an ongoing argument about the property lines.
