DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) A 30-year-old woman remains behind bars Friday after deputies in Darlington County say she attacked another woman with a razor blade on Nov. 10.
Capt. Andy Locklair, spokesman for the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, said Sharria Lavonnda Rue and the victim got into an altercation.
During that altercation, Rue allegedly cut the woman in the face with the razor blade and then fled the scene.
It remains unknown at this time what the altercation was about and the extent of the victim's injuries.
Rue was nearly on the run for a month before being arrested for the alleged assault. Locklair told WMBF news that the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force assisted in arresting Rue on Dec. 7 in the Society Hill area.
She has been charged with assault and battery in the first degree and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Locklair said she remains at the Darlington County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
