Senior citizen among arrestees in drug bust

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office's has arrested a 75-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman on drug charges this past week.

Deputy Del Routh, spokesman for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, said Joe Clyde Robinson of Sunnybrook Way in Leland and Dorothy May Bennerman of Goodland Road in Leland have both been charged with the following:

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver drug paraphernalia
Possession of marijuana
Maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia

Additional details in their arrests have not been released by officials at this time.
