MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach Police have charged three with attempted murder after shots were fired outside of bar early Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, an officer on patrol in the area along 3rd Avenue South near Advanced Auto Parts heard four gunshots coming from Donny's Saloon just before 3 a.m. The officer said a gray Chrysler 300 then quickly pulled out of the parking lot and turned onto 3rd Avenue heading toward Highway 15.
The vehicle did not have its headlights on, the report said.
The officer further stated as the vehicle was speeding off, three or four more shots were heard, and three black males were observed in the vehicle.
Once on scene at Donny's Saloon, several victims told officers they were inside the bar when shots were fired. Two victims' vehicles suffered two bullet holes, another victim's tire was flattened by a bullet.
Shell casings were discovered in the parking lot as well as the roadway, according to the report.
Upon further investigation, three men were arrested in connection to the incident.
Kennard Christopher Devaughn, 20, Kenneth Lamont Stovall, 24, and Steven Tyrone Padgett, 24, have been charged with attempted murder.
All three were taken to the Myrtle Beach Jail where they remain at this time.
