Two suspects sought in alleged burglary

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach Police are seeking two suspects that allegedly burglarized three men, and assaulted one man in the area of Garrison Street Friday night.

Officers responded to a residence on Garrison Street in Myrtle Beach shortly before 10 p.m. Friday in response to a reported burglary. Three Spanish speaking victims claimed to have been burglarized by two males, and one of the victims had been assaulted in the process.

The victims reported that they were unloading contents from their car when they noticed two men walking down Stalvey Avenue. The two suspects yelled in their direction, asking if the victims had a lighter. The victims responded that they did not and went inside their home.

Minutes later, the victims heard a knock at the door. As one of the suspects unlocked the door to open it, the victims claim one suspect forced the door open to enter their home. One victim was pinned behind the door.

The suspects demanded money of the remaining two victims, as both suspects presented guns. Both of those victims handed over their wallets.

One of the victims asked if he could keep his identification. The victim pinned behind the door claimed that the suspects became irritated at this request at hit that victim in the head with his gun.

The first suspect was described as a thin, 23-year-old black male, standing between 5`10 and 6`1 tall, wearing a black tshirt and blue jeans. This suspect had short hair and carried a chrome, medium size semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect was described as heavy set with blonde hair, standing between 5`8 and 5`9. He wore a red sweater with a white stripe and a zipper. He also carried a medium sized, chrome semi-automatic handgun.
