Double homicide in Florida leads investigators to Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) -

A double homicide leads investigators in Jacksonville, Fla. to Georgetown. The victim's family and the Justice Coalition is now offering a $10,000 reward with information that leads to an arrest in the murder of two men who were step brothers.

Deputies say Eric Stubbs and John Franklin Ragin Jr. were shot several times at Ragin's home in Jacksonville on June 29.

Police say their bodies were found by a family member. According to investigators, there was no sign of forced entry and they do not think it was a murder-suicide.

The family is hoping that this reward will help get new information on the case.

The Jacksonville County Sheriff's Office believes there is a connection to people who are living in the Georgetown area. They believe those people have information or may be connected to the case.

If you have any information you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
