HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) An early morning accident turned fatal after one man from Conway lost control of his vehicle Friday morning.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 1991 Ford pickup was traveling north along Still Pond Road at approximately 2:25 a.m. Friday morning when it left the roadway and hit a tree. The driver, and the only occupant, was not wearing seat belt.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said the driver, Dennis C. Hucks, was taken by ambulance to Conway Medical Center ER then transferred to Grand Strand Medical Center where he died Friday morning at 5:17 a.m. from injuries sustained during the accident.
