COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Gamecocks moved up a spot in both the Associated Press poll and the USA Today Coaches poll while the Clemson Tigers stayed put in the polls.

Saturday's 14 - 12 victory against the Mississippi State Bulldogs helped the Gamecocks jump to #14 in the AP poll and #13 in the Coaches Poll.

Meanwhile, Clemson's undefeated season continued after a comeback win against the Maryland Terrapins. Due to the amount of other undefeated teams above them, the Tigers had no movement and stayed at #8.
