What police need to solve the cold case of Shawn Neal

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) After 15 years, police are saying what they need to solve a cold case that left a family reeling for answers when their daughter was killed.

Shawn Neal's body was discovered after she left a North Myrtle Beach condo in 1996, with absolutely no clues left at the scene as to who her murderer may be.

North Myrtle Beach Police and SLED have worked together, investigating this case to finally answer Shawn's family's questions.

WMBF News Anchor Michael Maely sits down with police and relatives of the victim to see exactly what is needed to bring Shawn's killer to justice. Tune in Thursday at 11 p.m. to see if this cold case will be turned into a closed case.
