Mother and son located, AMBER Alert canceled

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) An AMBER Alert was issued just after midnight Wednesday morning in Anderson County and has since been canceled after the mother and child were located.

NBC affiliate WYFF reports Anderson County deputies have canceled an AMBER Alert for a boy and his mother following a supposed kidnapping.

Deputies said Lisha Nicole Minor, 24, and her son, Samuel Zachery Smith, 3, were taken in a carjacking at the Sunset Grill on Highway 29 North about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The AMBER Alert for them was canceled around 2:15 Wednesday morning.
