SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) The view from the helmet camera of a bicyclist shows a van side swiping the biker on a South Carolina road.
The van's brush against the cyclist is just the first of two crashes Bart Wellisley was involved in on his bike in a two day span.
Deputies were able to track down the van after Wellisley yelled out the tag information.
"If somebody brushes you, or pushes you off the road, you have to get that tag number and you have to call them in; otherwise, they're not going to get educated," explains Willisley.
The second crash happened two days later when a car turned into the biker in Newberry County.
"I always follow through because the next cyclist, hopefully won't have to deal with it, and I would only hope that other cyclists out there are doing the same thing," Willisley urges.
The first crash is still under investigation, but the highway patrol charged a Newberry teen in the second crash with hit and run, and driving without insurance.
