Matt Moore brings a passion for both sports and television to the WMBF News team as a sports reporter and news photographer.
Matt comes to WMBF from the University of South Carolina where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and graduated with the honor of USC's top television reporter. While in Columbia, Matt was a sports anchor and director for Carolina News and interned as a sports photographer at WLTX.
Growing up in Clemson, Matt played high school basketball and fell in love with the Tigers and all college sports. When he realized his playing career wouldn't last past high school, he found television was the best way to stay connected to the sports world.
When he's not reporting on sports, Matt can be found on a local basketball court or golf course enjoying the beautiful Grand Strand weather.

- If you could be any famous person, who would you be and why? Chipper Jones - He's a southern sports icon and will go down as one of the greatest Atlanta Braves of all time.
- What would you do if you didn't work in news? Teach math, Coach high school basketball
- Favorite travel destination: Colorado, I love the mountains
- 3 things you'd take with you if abandoned on a deserted island: Physician's Desk Reference, A box of lighters, Bear Grylls from the Discovery Channel because he can survive any situation - It's good to be practical
- Describe yourself in one word: Busy
- What characteristics make you unique? I lived in Clemson my whole life then went to USC Not many Carolina students had Clemson posters and Tiger Rags in their dorm rooms.
