HCPD releases surveillance pictures of bank robbery suspect

CAROLINA FOREST, SC (WMBF) – The Horry County Police Department is investigating a bank robbery in the Carolina Forest area that occurred Tuesday afternoon, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the robber.

Sgt. Robert Kegler with the Horry County Police Department said the robbery occurred at the Carolina First Bank located at 4100 Postal Way around 1:50 p.m.

Officers learned a white male wearing a dark colored suit and sunglasses entered the bank and presented a note demanding money.

The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers were able to obtain surveillance videos of the suspects, stills of which are attached. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Horry County Police Department at 843-915-5350 or 843-915-TIPS to remain anonymous.
