MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Traffic is flowing again on Carolina Forest Blvd. near Sawgrass East sub-division following a two car collision Thursday morning.

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the crash around 8:00 a.m. where they had to use the Jaws of Life to pull one female victim from the ruins. She was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.

The second driver involved in the crash did not require medical treatment.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently on the scene investigating the crash. Details into what may have caused the accident have not been released at this time.
