School districts announce snow make-up days

SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) – The following is a list of delays, closings and school make-up days for various counties and school districts in our area.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY:

  • Monday, Jan. 24 and Tuesday, Jan. 25 will be make-up days for all Brunswick County Schools.
  • Saturday, Jan. 22 will be an optional teacher work day.

DARLINGTON COUNTY:

  • All Darlington Co. Schools will be closed Friday for students. All employees are to report on their regular schedule.

DILLON COUNTY:

  • All Dillon Co. Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Thursday.
  • Dillon Christian School will operate on a 2-hour delay Thursday.

FLORENCE COUNTY:

  • Friday, Jan. 14 will be a make-up day for all Florence District One Schools.
  • Monday, Feb. 21 will be a make-up day for all Florence District One Schools.
  • Friday, Mar. 11 will be a make-up day for all Florence District One Schools.
  • Florence District One Schools' will observe the following exam schedule:
    • Jan. 13 – examination review day
    • Jan. 14, Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 – examination dates
    • Jan. 17 – schools closed

GEORGETOWN COUNTY:

  • Thursday, Jan. 13 and Wednesday, June 1 will now be full school days to make up for snow days for all Georgetown Co. Schools.

HORRY COUNTY:

  • Monday, Feb. 21 will be a make-up day for all Horry Co. Schools.

MARLBORO COUNTY:

  • All Marlboro Co. Schools will be closed Thursday.

MARION COUNTY:

  • Monday, Feb. 21 will be a make-up day for all Marion District One Schools.
