Savannah, GA -
HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Kids listen to all kinds of music, but on Monday, some took a step back in time.
Remember the disco tunes from the 70s and 80s? It's new to some. Monday was Baby Loves Disco night at Fort Stewart. Lots of young children were strutting their best disco moves with the help of some DJs and bubble machines. It helped to bring kids together with parents and take their minds off of long deployments for mom and dad.
"It's the one activity where parents have fun with their children, not just watching their kids, but it creates a great dynamic between the parents and the kids," said Andy Hurwitz, founder of Baby Loves Disco.
Baby Loves Disco is a nationwide event. If you'd like to find out how you can get in the groove visit www.babylovesdisco.com, or contact Andy Hurwitz at 917.744.5738 or andy@ropeadope.com.
