Fayetteville man found shot in car in Robeson Co.

ROBESON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A Fayetteville man was found shot to death in a vehicle along Lewis Farm Rd in Robeson County Thursday morning.

According to Major Alan Branch of the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, Demetrious Lathon Jr., 44, was discovered by a passerby in the Shannon area of the county around 6:23 a.m. Thursday in a red Suzuki.

Officials say there is no apparent motive for the shooting, and they have no leads at this time.
