Florence, SC - FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff's Office hope the public can help identify a man involved in a robbery in Florence Wednesday.
Michael Nunn, spokesperson for the Florence County Sheriff's Office, said around 10:20 a.m., a white male entered the Pee Dee Federal Credit Union on West Palmetto Street and demanded cash from the tellers.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a dark blue 2002 Neon with a Maine license plate. The plate number is 860-7RU.
The credit union was able to capture him on surveillance video.
He is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, standing approximately 5'7" and weighing around 170 pounds.
He was wearing dark cargo shorts and a green, long-sleeved pull over, possibly with a white crew or turtleneck shirt underneath. The suspect was also wearing sunglasses and a camouflage boonie hat with a brim that runs all the way around it, similar to those worn in the military.
The suspect may have had dark hair underneath the hat.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
