CHARLESTON, SC (AP) - The Coast Guard has rescued seven people from a capsized boat about 30 miles off the coast of South Carolina.
The Coast Guard said in a news release that four adults and three children were rescued around 6 a.m. Sunday from a 38-foot powerboat.
The wife of the boat owner reported the party overdue Saturday night.
The Coast Guard said the people had been in the water about 20 hours. They were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina for evaluation. Their conditions were not immediately available.
