Marion Co. deputies search for clues in August home break-in

Mullins, SC - MULLINS, SC (WMBF) - Firearms, televisions and tools were taken from a Marion County residence during a break-in on Aug. 10, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to reports of a residential break-in at 2649 Millers Road in Mullins on Aug. 10. Upon arrival, officials learned a suspect had kicked in the back door of the residence and made entry.

A spokesman for the department said during the break-in, firearms, televisions, tools and a silver 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo were stolen. Officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for the car, containing South Carolina license plate BVA-887.

Anyone with information on the burglary or location of the stolen vehicle is asked to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 843-423-8216.
