Dillon, SC - DILLON, SC (WMBF) - Two teens have been arrested and charged by Dillon Police in connection to the shooting of a delivery truck driver on July 21.

Jackie Johnson Jr., 17, and a second teenager have been charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and criminal conspiracy, according to Dillon Police spokesman Sgt. Turner.

Turner alleged the two teens were among a group of three people who approached a delivery truck, driven by David Justice, along Railroad Avenue on the morning of July 21.

Investigators said Justice was inside of the truck taking a nap when the group approached him for directions to an area motel. One of the suspects pulled out a gun, fired a shot through the truck's window and hit Justice in the chest.

Turner said a third suspect connected to the crime remains at large. Officials expect to arrest the third individual on Thursday or Friday.
