Police search for bank fraud suspect

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are searching for a man who they believe is behind a bank fraud incident on Aug. 4.

Capt. David Knipes, spokesman for the Myrtle Beach Police Department, said the incident occurred at the Conway National Bank, located at 3591 N. Gate Rd. Officials said a man withdrew $300 from an unauthorized account.

Surveillance video taken of the suspect at the bank describes the man as a black male with a ponytail and goatee.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department immediately.
