MB Police: Beach bags stolen from beach

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police are looking for suspects who stole three beach bags from the beach on Wednesday.

Police report around 1 p.m., three people noticed their beach bags were missing after leaving them on the beach behind the Breakers Resort, located at 2600 N. Ocean Blvd.

The victims claimed that they went to the beach to set up their towels and umbrellas, and left their beach bags lying on their towels. Police said they went down to the water for approximately 10 minutes and upon coming back, discovered that their bags were missing.

Among the items taken were three cell phones, wallets containing money and credit cards, sunglasses, drivers' licenses, a Social Security card and an iPod, according to Myrtle Beach Police. The items are valued at $3,400
