Cabarrus Co. teen found after being missing 2 weeks

CABARRUS COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office says a teen who has been missing for two weeks, has been located in New Jersey.

Alexis Chyenne Plyler, 15, went missing on Aug. 11 from her home on Sebastian Way in Concord. 

The sheriff's office says she was in the company of an 18-year-old Hispanic male named Orlando when she went missing.

The sheriff's office initially believed she was traveling to Myrtle Beach with Orlando, but she was located in New Jersey.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office would like to extend a "Thank you" to all the agencies and news media involved in helping locate Alexis.
