Man pulls gun on two in Sonic parking lot

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A man pulled a gun on two victims in a restaurant parking lot on Sunday night, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

David Campbell, 27, allegedly followed two people in his car to the Sonic Restaurant on Mr. Joe White Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday. The victims claim that Campbell approached their vehicle, pulled out a silver pistol and racked a round.

Campbell then threw his hands up and walked away without saying anything to the victims, according to police.

One of the victims said she was scared for her life, as well as the lives of her three children who were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Campbell allegedly continued to accuse her of stealing a safe he had in his apartment that contained heroin and $15,000.

The victim says she does not know anything about the safe.

After Campbell left the scene, the victims then went to the Myrtle Beach Police Department to report the incident.
