Police: Man stabs victim with knife, fork

Conway, SC - CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A Conway man has been charged in connection to a stabbing that occurred on Saturday night, according to Conway Police.

Tommy Christopher Grimm, 36, of Conway, was charged Monday with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

Catina Hipp, spokesman for the Conway Police Department, said officers were dispatched to the Conway Medical Center on Saturday around 9 p.m. to meet with an assault victim. The victim reported he went into a residence, located on Fifth Avenue, and confronted Grimm about stealing medicine from his elderly neighbors.

The victim said Grimm proceeded to stab him multiple times with a fork and knife.

The victim was transported to the Conway Medical Center to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

A judge granted Grimm a $25,000 surety bond at a Monday morning bond hearing.
