Horry County, SC - HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Fire departments in Horry County are hoping a "Fill the Boot" fundraiser will help raise money for muscular dystrophy this weekend.
From Aug. 20-22, firefighters will be found at local businesses with fire boots to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Fire departments from North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach and Conway are asking the public to donate change and dollars at the following locations:
- Wal-Mart on Seaboard St.
- Coastal Grande Mall
- North Myrtle Beach Wal-Mart
- Conway Wal-Mart
- Bi-Lo in Windy Hills, North Myrtle Beach
All funds stay local to help Horry County residents living with muscular dystrophy.
