Missing NC teen may be in Myrtle Beach area

Cabarrus County, NC - CABARRUS COUNTY, NC (WMBF/WBTV) - The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office believes a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since last week could be in the Myrtle Beach area.

Alexis Chyenne Plyler was last seen leaving her home on Sebastian Way in Concord on Aug. 11 around 3 p.m.

Officials report she was in the company of an 18-year-old Hispanic male named Orlando, who was driving a black Volkswagen. It is believed she may have traveled to the Myrtle Beach area.

Plyler has been described as a white female, standing 5'5" and weighing 115 pounds. Police said the teen has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the location of Plyler is asked to call the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office at (704) 920-3000.
