Georgetown deputies investigate peeping tom report

Georgetown, SC - MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - Deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office are actively investigating a peeping tom incident recently reported in a Murrells Inlet neighborhood.

Sgt. Russell Goodale, spokesman for the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, said deputies were dispatched to a home along Daphne Lane around 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 9. A 16-year-old told investigators she spotted a person looking at her through a set of cracked blinds.

The girl, according to investigators, was unable to give a detailed description of the suspect.

Deputies searched the neighborhood for the suspect, but were unable to locate a person of interest.
