Conway, SC - CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are gearing up for the 2010 football season by hosting two events in August geared towards the team's fan base.
The team will kick off the season with a "Meet the Chants" Fan Appreciation Day on Aug. 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Brooks Stadium. The annual event lets Coastal Carolina fans get an up close and personal look at this year's squad through an interactive autograph and photo session.
In addition to the meet-and-greet, fans will have the opportunity to get an inside look at the university's Adkins Field House, a new state-of-the-art facility used by Chanticleer athletes.
Four days later, Coach David Bennett and his team of football experts will welcome a handful of ladies to Brooks Stadium for Coastal's annual "Ladies Night." Female fans and those interested in learning the game are invited to learn the intricacies of the game, in addition to asking the team questions about rule interpretations.
The clinic will take place in the new team room on the 3rd floor of the Adkins Field House. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Space is limited to 100 guests.
