$7,600 in guns, ammo stolen from home; NC man charged

Supply, NC - BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - A 23-year-old man from Supply, NC, has been arrested and charged in connection to a residential burglary in June.

Sgt. April Gause, spokeswoman for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, said a home located in Supply was broken into between June 1 and June 22. More than $7,600 worth of property was stolen, including firearms, digital cameras and ammunition.

Following an investigation, officers arrested John Truman Holden III, 23, of Supply, in connection to the crime. Holden now faces one count of breaking and entering and one count of larceny after breaking and entering.

Holden was served at the Brunswick County Detention Center on Aug. 6 and remains in custody with a $100,000 secured bond.
