Coker College sports agree to deal with Nike

Hartsville, SC - HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Coker College athletic director Lynn Griffin says the department has agreed with Nike for the company to outfit the school's 15 sports programs.

Griffin announced Thursday that Nike will supply footwear, apparel and equipment for Cobra sports teams, in partnership with Bocock Sports. The school says its teams will phase in the new equipment this season and have athletes completely in Nike gear during the 2011-2012 season.

Coker says its agreement with Nike is on a year-to-year basis. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Coker is an NCAA Division II school.
