(WMBF) - Washing and waxing your car can have it looking brand new, but not without investing both time and money into your set of wheels.
The Rejuvenate Auto 15 Minute Wash and Wax Renewer claims it can cut down the time you spend washing your car to 15 minutes. Combining cleaning agents and wax in a milky liquid, the makers of the product claim it does not need water to do the job.
Two black and silver vehicles put the Rejuvenate Auto 15 Minute Wash and Wax Renewer to the test to see if it can live up to its claims. Directions reveal the product can't be used in direct sunlight or on excessively dirty paint.
The product is first tested on a 9-year-old black sedan, packed with plenty of scratches along its hood. A few squirts to the rag and a spray to hood left the test site with a noticeable shine. The superficial scratches disappeared with buffing, but the deeper scratches remained.
Would the product work the same on a similar silver sedan?
Jeff Jumper, the tester behind the product, set a clock to 15 minutes to see if he could get the silver car shiny in a time crunch. The entire car was completed with three minutes to go, revealing a clean, smooth and shiny vehicle.
The cars were able to be cleaned with less than a full bottle of the product, but users are warned that results may vary from vehicle to vehicle.
The Rejuvenate Auto 15 Minute Wash and Wax is living up to its claims in its "Does It Work?" test.
