SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) - The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory Wednesday, as temperatures continue to rise across much of South Carolina.
The heat advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Heat index values are forecasted to reach upwards of 105 degrees throughout the afternoon.
WMBF Storm Team Meteorologist Katy Morgan said Wednesday highs will settle in the low to mid 90s under partly cloudy skies. As the hot and humid day continues, there will be a chance of an isolated storm popping up across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.
Temperatures will remain mild Wednesday night, as lows are expected to settle in the upper 70s.
