Marion, SC - MARION, SC (WMBF) - Investigators with the Marion County Sheriff's Office have arrested two suspects in connection to an armed convenience store robbery in Mullins on June 21.
Marion County Sheriff Mark Richardson said deputies arrested Travis Crawford, 17, of Marion, and an unidentified 15-year-old female in connection to the crime. Officials allege the two walked into a Sam's Mart and put a pistol to a store clerk's head before robbing it of cash and cigarettes.
Following his arrest on July 14, Crawford was charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, first degree assault and battery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Crawford is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $125,000 bond, while the 15-year-old female remains at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
