MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down 19-year-old Markeviuz Demonte Evans, who is wanted attempted strong armed robbery.
Officials allege Evans and an accomplice attempted to forcefully take a victim's wallet at a Cash Grocery on 6th Avenue North on July 11. In addition to the wallet, the two suspects attempted to take his cell phone as the victim called police for help.
Evans was last seen driving rented mopeds from MB Scooters. Evans originates from the Laurens area, but may still be in Myrtle Beach.
Evans is described as a black male standing 5'10"and weighing 250 pounds.
