Pedestrian struck on US-17 Bypass in MB

Myrtle Beach, SC - MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Traffic has been slowed in the southbound lanes of US-17 Bypass Wednesday afternoon after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Dan Cimini confirmed the accident occurred just before 4 p.m. along US-17 Bypass in front of The Sun News.

While details remain limited, the victim was treated on scene by Myrtle Beach EMS crews. The extent of the victim's injuries has not been released.
