Supply, NC - BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - A man is behind bars Tuesday night after allegedly stealing a company truck carrying thousands of dollars worth of appliances.
According to a press release from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, detectives arrested 39-year-old Richard Steven Eury of Supply, NC after a pick-up with the keys still inside was stolen from a Kangaroo located at 16 Ocean Highway West around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The company vehicle belongs to Crossroads Appliances and contained over $11,000 worth of appliances in the back. Detectives were able to create a strong physical description of the suspect through surveillance footage at the business, and by 2:00 p.m., Eury was taken into custody without incident.
Eury is charged with felony larceny of motor vehicle and felony larceny and is currently being held at the Brunswick County Detention Facility on $10,000 bond.
