Bennettsville, SC - BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - A fifth person is behind bars in connection to the murder of a Bennettsville store clerk.
Bennettsville police say Robert Hammonds talked to suspects involved in the murder of Samer Hussein and saw them leave the store while carrying a gun.
Hammonds is now charged with misprision of a felony, which means he knew about the crime but did not report it to police.
Hussein was shot to death while men robbed the Quik Stop convenience store he was working at on Marshall Street May 10.
Kadeem Ocean, Rashad Baskins, Marcus Townsend, and a juvenile who's name has not been released, face multiple charges, including murder.
Marlboro County Court Judge Edward Cottingham set bond for Rashid Baskins at $10,000, according to the Marlboro County solicitor's office.
