Deputies: Robbers pepper spray, bite victim in armpit

Georgetown, SC - GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two men are wanted in Georgetown County after kicking down the door of a mobile home early Tuesday morning, spraying a man with Mace and allegedly firing a gun.

Deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office were called to a home along Dana Lane in reference to a strong armed robbery just after midnight Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies found two victims who said two men kicked in the door to their mobile home and were armed with a shotgun and Mace.

A victim sitting on a couch at the time of the incident said he was sprayed with the pepper spray by one of the suspects. The victim said after attempting to run into his bedroom to seek protection, the two suspects followed him and began attacking him on his bed.

The two suspects, according to an incident report, stole the victim's wallet during the attack, which contained $800 cash and a $100 check from his father. The victim said the two men then slammed him into a window, and one proceeded to bite him in his armpit.

While attempting to flee the mobile home through its back door, the victim said he heard two shots fired. An investigation led deputies to find a hole in the floor and shot gun shells where the firearm was discharged.

The victim described the suspects as two unmasked white males, one of which stood approximately 6'0" and weighed 245 pounds with short, light-colored hair. The second suspect was described as standing the same height, but with black hair.

Deputies found shotgun shells outside of the trailer, in addition to a baby blue shirt with blood stains on it.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or further information on the incident is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office immediately.
