Authorities searching for vehicle involved in afternoon shooting

Florence County, SC - FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Police are searching for four males they consider to be armed and dangerous after a shooting on Wednesday afternoon.

Timmonsville Police and Florence County Deputies are looking for a sliver or gray Nissan automobile with Tennessee license tags that fired upon another vehicle on Main Street in Timmonsville, according to Captain Michael Nunn, spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

Police say the female victim stated the Nissan pulled up beside her, motioned for her to pull over and when she didn't, multiple shots were fired into her vehicle.

The victim told police the Nissan was occupied by four black males, possibly between the ages of 18 and 25 years of age and were wearing dark or black clothing.

Police say no one was injured but say the occupants of the Nissan vehicle should not be approached.
