Hwy 701 reopened after hazmat situation

Horry County, SC - HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Traffic is back to normal after a gasoline leak prompted a hazmat situation along Highway 701 on Wednesday afternoon, according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins, spokesman for the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

According to officials, an unsecured log truck caused a number of gas pumps to leak fuel at Gerald's Convenience Store, after the truck rolled into the pumps.
