4 arrested on drug-related charges in Conway traffic stop

Conway, SC - HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Four people are facing a variety of drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Conway over the weekend.

Officers with the Horry County Police Department discovered nearly 155 grams of marijuana inside of a vehicle during a traffic stop on Saturday along Wayside Road. The four people inside of the car were arrested as a result of the discovery.

The following suspects were transported by police to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center:

  • Brandon Lamar Hemingway-Adge, 20, of Conway: Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, minor in possession of alcohol, violation of South Carolina ABC law and giving false information to law enforcement
  • Charles Lenbyrd Adams, 26, of Conway: Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and giving false information to law enforcement
  • Sharece Quewan Adams, 27, of Conway: Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, giving false information to law enforcement, driving without lights, child passenger restraint violation and driving under suspension
  • Denisha Laquana Mishoe, 23, of Conway: Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and giving false information to law enforcement

Sharece Adams currently remains in custody of police. The three other suspects, according to officials, have been released from jail on bond.
