South Carolina - SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) – Four people were killed in vehicle-related accidents over the weekend, according to the latest statewide fatality report from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
The four fatalities occurred between Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at midnight.
As of Monday, 374 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 427 highway deaths in this same time period in 2009.
Of the deaths reported in the state's latest fatality report, two victims were not wearing their seatbelts and one victim was on a motorcycle.
Included in the 283 motor vehicle occupants who have died in 2010, 158 were not wearing seat belts.
